Unfortunately, in our society the prevailing view is that the problem of child abuse is an internal problem of the particular family and does not require the intervention of society and state. The motives of these crimes are rape and murder, receiving the ransom from their parents.Ĭhildren are the most unprotected and vulnerable part of society and they are completely dependent on adults. In the United States annually disappear up to 40 thousand children. In America every 7th child runs away from home before he reached adulthood. If to be precise, today in the United States live about 3 million teenagers who ran away from home. Human rights defenders of the USA note that today the country occupies the 1st place in the world among developed countries in terms of violence against children. Every day in the United States 5 children die from violence and 80% of them did not reach 5-years age. Every 10 seconds in the USA, there are reports of violence against a child or several children. In 78% of cases the cause of death was neglect of the child's life. Over the past 10 years in the United States were killed 4 times more children than soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. USA has the first place in statistics of cases with child abuse.
However, it is not noticed what is happening in our country in respect of human rights, in particular rights of children, and in other spheres of life of the American people. The United States of America is the country that teaches the world community how to build democracy and respect human rights.
